I have an older WRT54g that I flashed with DD-WRT v.24-sp2 and didn't brick it. I am trying to use as a repeater. In setting it up per the DD-WRT wiki page I was able to see the repeater from a wireless laptop but was not able to see my network, or connect to the internet.
