At the start I got 68 Mbps then few months later I got new laptop and used a TP-LINK dongle that has USB 3.0 and linked with my laptop USB 3.0 and speeds I got up to was 88,2 Mbps with low as 79.1 Mbps :) I then a week ago we got local phone trouble that was posted on BT and after it was fixed and I tested I found that speed was down at 44.6Mbps from my over speeds. well just got bt infinity 2 installed yesterday as the cab went live 3 weeks ago i am one of three on the cab at the moment according to the openreach man. only thing is that the speed i am smashing down at the moment on speed test is 60meg when taking out the deal bt quoted i would get 74meg BT infinity speed is not governed by your distance from the exchange but by the distance to the infinity enabled cabinet. You seem to be one of the unlucky ones that are quite far from the cabinet. My cabinet is about 200 metres from my house and I get about 70Mbps which is pretty good.

When I switched from TalkTalk, BT estimated my download speeds would be between 54Mbps and 55Mb, with upload speeds between 9Mbps and 10Mb. I rarely achieved 54Mbps, although I usually achieved the minimum guaranteed speed of 50Mbps. More recently, BT upgraded their Infinity 1 service to some subscribers at no extra charge.
Sep 16, 2015 · After some help here as i'm sticking a complaint in to BT about a few issues and infinity 1 speed i get is one is one of them. I've being with them since last Sept and not being very happy with my speeds since then. The only speed i can see on any of the paperwork i have which was printed off at the time of order is an estimate of 25.5Mb.
