Re: Data not working on nexus 4 i have a nexus 4 on fido in Vancouver. its normal for the phone to stay in 3G while in standby. when you open a link or use data it automatically changes to h or h+ because this is faster. once your page completely loads, it goes back to 3g. so this isn't a problem. I was having a similar problem with my Nexus 4. With wifi and the GPS on, it was able to locate me on a map quickly and accurately. Without wifi however, it was consistently inaccurate by a few blocks. This made navigation impossible. I tried resetting A-GPS data using the GPS Status App, but that didn't fix the problem. Objects between the router and your Nexus 6 may decrease the signal strength. Connecting to a Wi-Fi network may also improve battery life. Note: To optimize device performance, be sure your Nexus 6 is running the most recent device software. Check for software updates.
