Dish Network Corp. on Wednesday reported that it lost subscribers in the latest quarter as pressure from blackouts of HBO and Univision weighs on its base. Shares of the satellite-television provider fell 8% in response. DishNetwork will start losing subscribers as we approach April and HBO is not back. IMHO, part of this is just a PR play by DishNetwork. My prediction is that in the next 2-3 weeks, DishNetwork will announce that they have negotiated with the evil monopoly that is AT&T and fought a good fight but the end result is that HBO will cost $5-10 more a month than it use to..
